Suppliers & Quotes
Check EAM can track product purchase values and quantities for an unlimited number of suppliers for all product types and consolidate expenditure across inventories. For each product, multiple quotes can be maintained, including last purchase price, negotiated and contract prices with their corresponding current and future effective dates. By automatically selecting the supplier with the lowest possible price, Check EAM helps facilitate a 'best practice' purchasing process. Cost-effective buying is also supported through a number of interface methods to ensure price and product availability information is updated with a minimum of effort.

Purchase Order Generation
Purchas e orders may be created from on -line requisitions; through store or outlet reordering, either by consumption or par level; via standing orders; copy order or manual entry. Through its automated purchasing function, Check EAM eliminates guesswork, enabling users to maintain optimal stock levels at the lowest possible cost, thereby greatly reducing or even eliminating over or under -ordering.

Receiving and Delivery
Check EAM greatly simplifies the ongoing process of recording deliveries. Rather than keying in each product delivered, deliveries are compared directly against purchase orders for quantity and price verification. Thus, receiving becomes a simple task of recording exceptions. Check EAM has the ability to easily receive in different purchase sizes , record taxes, discounts and freight charges and can split an order or receive it into multiple invoices. Users are able to readily spot errors and evaluate the effect of price changes that would otherwise fall in the suppliers favor, translating into a substantial annual savings. Of course, all invoice transactions can be processed directly to your accounts payable system.

Recipes & Menu Items
Check EAM helps eliminate over-production by standardizing recipes and portions through out the Food & Beverage Department. Each Recipe may be composed of raw ingredients, finished goods, non-food items and sub -recipes. All costs are based upon store-specific current costs and are automatically recalculated with each receipt. To ensure that Recipes are functional for the Chef, Check EAM includes text windows for documenting method, description and presentation instructions. Kitchen staff can even access photographs from the recipe screen or print them on recipe card. Each Recipe can also be limited for use and viewing by specific outlet.

Sales Analysis
Sales are reported to Check EAM, through an interface to point of sale, where combined with cost information your managers are ensured of the complete picture. Each menu item can be linked to a product, a portion of a product or a recipe. In addition to gross profit analysis, sales can be used to reduce stock and create automatic issues from commissary outlets.

Requisitions and Issues
Check EAM easily accommodates your need to requisition, issue and transfer stock. Stock movements between stores, outlets or properties are tracked which then provide the basis for cost analysis. Users can place their requisitions through customized screens and 'shopping' lists, via touch screen POS. or PC terminal, thus empowering the organization with the tools to move the business online and eliminate the paper trail. With automated requisition, issues and transfers are created directly from stock requests, saving time and effort. Once received, a purchase can be directly expens ed to an outlet, immediately affecting both 'on hand' levels and values.

Inventory Management
Check EAM automatically records and accurately tracks all inventory activities with respect to purchases; stock issues and transfers; depletion due to production , sales, and spoilage; plus physical inventory variance for your stores. For stock count, users can print physical inventory sheets and input manually or use a hand - held bar-code terminal to facilitate the process. Each inventory department can be closed independently, allowing the rest of your op eration to continue using Check. Check EAM maintains in real-time quantity on hand, cost and valuation for each product by location. Inventory valuation is based either on a Weighted Average or Last Purchase Price calculation.
